Biography
Robb & Hugo is an American brand designed by Angela Kim and based in New York City. Described as luxury comfort clothing designed for the downtown girl. Kim studied and graduated from Purdue University and Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After working in the fashion industry for 12 years, Kim launched Robb & Hugo named after her husband and son, respectively. Angela can be seen on Lifetime's "24 Hour Catwalk", episode 3.
The Robb & Hugo line is known for their perfect fitting jeans. Kim uses the best fabrics from United States, Italy and Japan. Her sweat jeans are made from fabric knitted in North Carolina and her denim also comes from North Carolina. Kim then produces the entire collection in New York City of the best American craftmanship.
After premiering the line in 2008, Kim then introduced her Blair jean sweats and trouser sweatpants made with her, PERFECT RISE TECHNOLOGY™. The back rise does not pull down and the waistband does not stretch out. The collection has been an instant hit with top retailers along with celebrities: Christina Aguilera, Ashley Greene, Kristin Cavallari & Bai Ling.
